TODO DA is a multi-disciplinary design and architecture firm based in New York City led by Jorge Prado, RA, LEED AP and Silva Ajemian. Founded in 2005, TODO DA specializes in residential, commercial, and furniture design. The firm has extensive experience with apartment, loft and townhouse renovations, new houses, extensions to existing buildings, offices, showrooms, restaurants, and schools in and around NYC.
Prior to founding TODO DA, Jorge worked on adaptive reuse projects from Asia Society and FIAF to fashion house Elie Tahari’s office facilities in Millburn, NJ. Silva worked on a number of NYC Branch Libraries and conversions of industrial buildings to residential condominiums.
The firm’s approach to designing a project is to collaborate with clients to achieve spaces that reflect their needs and desires. These collaborations enrich the creative process. The end result is a uniquely tailored material and spatial environment. Jorge and Silva enjoy working with constraints and turning them into opportunities. Each project is a provocation that yields a fine attention to detail and execution through the use of the latest technologies and environmentally friendly materials where possible.
The firm has been recognized with awards and publications internationally. They have participated in exhibitions, design conferences and trade fairs in Palermo, Tokyo and New York. Jorge and Silva have taught the New Jersey Institute of Technology. They are two of the founding members of First Street Green, a community based arts organization working with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, Partnership for Parks and arts organizations citywide to revitalize and to bring art programming to First Park on the lower east side of Manhattan.
